Freedom and togetherness
always seemed a world apart you know it’s true.
There has to be a choice, it’s one or the other.
That was before I met you.

You know there’s such a fine line between
true love and fear of being alone.
Fear says I won’t let you go I need you here with me,
true love says go on ahead, I’ll catch up or wait for you.

More and more lately, there’s a feeling deep inside:
I’m tired of running and I have no place to hide.
It wasn’t always a comfort, but I’ve known it from the start,
this time, I fell in love with a different kind of heart.

When my life gets crazy and wants to fall apart,
and I can’t make sense of anything,
I find myself thinking of the friendship that we share.
I can’t wait to see you again.
